I have a 26' firehawk with a single and a 2" shortie drive on a stellings box . The boat also has a 12" notched transom. I have my shaft set 1" above the bottom and it planes out with absolutly no slippage. I unfortinatly havn't had a chance to try any high speed tests with the boat, but I'm thinking about going up another 1/2-1". With your boat, I'd start at 1 1/2 - 2" above and go up from there.
I don't know what drive you have, but this is the point where prop shafts are breaking on Bravos-even with mild power. Please exercise care.
