Kanookstr,

I just looked at McMaster-Carr online and couldn't you use a brass pipe bushing and lock nut? They have one that reduces 1" to 3/4", pn 4429K415 and a lock nut, pn 4429K126. Both parts total is less than $8 plus ~$5 for shipping.

They have a wide range of sizes listed.

I have an Email sent to them asking if that would work rbtnt, Usually bulkheads have straight threads on the outside. I don't know if that nut will fit NPT threads? But I will find out Thanks

Thats what I'm looking for!! Now I can ask if they have it in brass or aluminum. The smaller brass one I have now only cost $18.00.
Thanks

That brass fitting should be available at a hyd. shop. Eddie Marine has nice fittings in alu. and ss.If you are useing them for steering, besure to use brass or s.s.
