I guess that would make it a little hard to ski behind that boat.:D

If you trim the drive down the rooster tail will go and you can ski behind the boat. Thats another advantage of having a trimmable drive.

Looks good imongo.

Imongo,
Hey, that boat needs to be waxed!

imongo 01-19-2003 07:23 AM

Howdy!

Checkmate, you're right. If I wanted to tow a skier, that's what ya do. However, I don't anticipate towing a skier anytime soon...

And as for you Cig... I just Poly-Glowed the whole damm thing! It looks pretty good! Check out the beach shots on the thread "Pulse Drive Installation"

Well, I'm off the the BVI again today. I'll see if I can get a few more shots...

Mongo is running hard in this photo, when skiing trimdown and slow down. Falling at 85mph hurts, I perfer 35. :p

Hey Mongo! How is weather in the USVI. We have our Ice Boats out here, but haven't figured out how to put the PD on it yet! Checking with Harry for a solution, and engine recommendation!

So, I have not been keeping up on this (sorry). Did you swap out Bravo's?? If so, what kind of performance differences with the Pulse Drives??

Vinny P 01-19-2003 10:40 AM

Hey guys-- I was just kidding about the skiing!!:p

I heard the pulsedrive will give you a 10% top speed boost over a bravo. Your Great Lakes distributor is near Bay City @ 888-818-6039.

Hey Dale, Harry likes a challenge. The Pulse should do well on an ice boat... now all ya gotta do is figure out where to put the motors! As far as the weather, check this out:drool:

Waterfoul, yes, took off the POS Bravos and installed the Pulse. Check the thread "Pulse Drive Installation" for all the details. We have to play with the props a little, but I am going as fast as I did with the Bravos but my RPM is down. I'm going to be in Florida in a week so I am bring in the props for a little tuning. Right now I am turning only 4600 RPM and should get 5200.

Also, I've found another reason for the Pulse! you can get more chicks on the back:D
