what is the gross lift of this cam?

Dur @ .050 int 242 / exh 252 / int lift .3670 / exh lift .3600

times 1.7=valve lift if you are using 1.7 ratio rockers (normal for bbc) .6239 and .612.

not to sound dumb, so this cam has 6 inch plus lift? correct?

six hundred twenty four thousands exhaust lift.
With a 1.7 rocker thats how far the valve moves. (little more than one half an inch)

Oops I mean intake lift. ... .612 exhaust.
