Extended MerCruiser Warranty

I was considering an extended MerCruiser Warranty for my 2001 Velocity 502 Mag. Can you tell me if people that have it are happy with it?? I bought the boat used with 20 hours....40 hours now. But after the year was up. Does it kick in right away?? Thanks for your help!! Chris

Yeah, I really wish I had it. I have two of those pesky 502 mags.

I have a 454 Mag MPI. The extended warranty paid for itself many times over. The nice thing is I bought my boat used and only had to pay $50 to transfer the warranty.

The are other warranties out there that include everything in your boat, depending on the year. Try 888-818-6039 for a free quote, ask for Dale. Just takes a simple mechanical check form to qualify, and I think you can ad three years.
