Slosh tank, This is crazy

I recently bought a 23 Eliminator daytona set up for twin Merc efi os motors. The slosh tank has 8 fittings with 1 plugged. Both fuel tanks are connected at the bottom with a 3/4 braided hose to maitain even fuel level. The slosh tank has 2 pickup ports that go to the weldon pumps the next 2 are returns from the motors, the next 2 are going to returns on the top of the tanks leaving the last open port with a single hose (5/16) going to a Tee that splits and goes to the pickups on each tank. These lines have fliters between the tanks and the tee and the flow is to the slosh tank.I'm having a hard time believing that @ efi's run of this line.Someting is wrong and my question is 1,Isn't this screwed up? andwith this tank what should be the proper set up.I raced a 25 motion that had a slosh tank built in but I don't remember it having all these lines but it was 12 years ago also. Do I need to run it at all being that the main tanks will maitain level and they have pickup, return and vents on each of them.

Below is the tank with the ports as discribed from right to left.

Thanx Lonnie

FEED lines going from the tank's to the engines even if you have a slosh tank should be at least 1/2 inch.
The overflow or return lines can be smaller. 3/8 at least.
