Trailer Galvanizing
 

Is it feasible to have an existing painted trailer galvanized? If so, who does this? Any problems with having it done on an existing trailer?

There is a cold galvinzing paint, but it doesn't do any good if rust has already started. Even a new galvanized trailer will not hold up long in a salt water environment. I see you are in Orlando, so I'm not sure if you do salt or not. The only answer to stop the salt is an aluminum trailer with ss fastners. Even they the springs and axles are going to rust. Remember, rust never sleeps.
