Injector Flow

Once cleaned and flowed, we noticed one of my injectors flows 8% more than the others. Is this a major problem? Can I at least dyno the engine until I find a replacement injector?

Anyone have a Lucas D3181AA injector? I'm in need of one!

Thanks,

Kirk

I wouldnt run it!! anymore than 1 or 2 % is not good. I guess because it is rich that it wouldnt melt down, but it might wash the cylinder wall.
You might give this guy a call. He has been into fuel injection for 20yrs.. His name is Rich , 231-796-5705, tell him I sent you.. Dick Tryce. He cleans and flow tests them for people all over the world. I forgot to look at that thread you started about injector size, did you see my post on that?

Thanks

I'll try calling him in the AM. Thanks for the input, I hope to get a good injector soon, I'm putting the engine back together and hope to dyno it within 2-weeks.

Who is doing the dyno, also who did you end up with to rebuild your motor?

Engine is being Dyno'd by Ateco. They did most of the machining and rotating assembly. I'm dressing it out right now and hope to be to the dyno in a week or so.

Here's a picture so far
