CMIs on EFI motors
 

I just bought CMIs for my 502 EFI, and haven't gotten the boat wet yet. However, I've been seeing threads that suggest EFIs and CMIs aren't a good match!!!

Anyone got experience with putting CMI cool collar E-tops on an EFI??? Good results, or bad???? EFI re-tuning necessary or not??

Looking for real experience of real boaters.

I put them on mine 2000 502mpi no problems. Probably picked up 1 to 1.5mph

You can't get no better than CMI. I was told for my stock 502 Just get Stainless exhaust cheaper and same performance as cmi as long as its all stock IT's top of the line exhaust Did you put a K/N on and a adjust fuel reg? HO wmuch did you pay ? and did you install them ?

The CMI"s will work well if you got the proper ones, you should pick up about 25hp, The hp 500's and the new 525's use CMI's either one of those headers design will give you a good gain

Got mine with tips of ebay for under $2,000 look like new. I already have hardin marine spark arrestor, and stock fuel pressure but with small fuel map boost in the ECM.
