What temperature is safe?

I live in north jersey and the water temperature is 37 degrees today.I would like to test our newly purchased 33 powerplay. The cooling systems in our engines do not have thermostats. Is it o.k. to run the boat today with the water temperature at 37 degrees taking into account that the oil gauge will probably not register a temperature.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Wil.

run it!...keep an eye out for condinsation in the valve covers and if it does form there...don't put it away like that...make sure you are jetted for those conditions! i would take it south...way less of a pain in the ass.

I live in Philly and would be more than glad to help you waste some gas on this fine day. I'll be your co-pilot
I just got back from Trenton Marine about an hour ago. :D
