Gen. VI Cam??

Does a Gen VI 502 need a dronze distributer gear for a stock roller cam?
Do all aftermarket roller cams require aftermarket roller lifters?

Depends on the way the cam was made as to the type gear it will say on cam card or call maker ,lifters depend on lift of the cam to be used ?????:D

Cam is Stock GM.

most of them require bronze gear ,if over 550 lift to 580lift generaly you need to change lifters

Comp cams has a composite gear that works on any cam and last for ever where as bronze wears

Which version of the 502 do you have?? Is it a 502/502 or is it a
marine 435hp base motor??
