this is a twenty YEAR old thread. luckily you can buy these from mercury still

^^^^ Exactly a 20-year-old thread. I did mine in powder coat back in 2001. Still have them and they look as good as they did when I got them back from the powder coater. Originally, they were black, maybe anodized, not sure and had them blasted and powder coated white.
