Ron Bender on the board repairs the hinge pin problem and uses no helicoils to do it. He has a post now looking for gimbal rings..... search for his name. Reasonable cost.

I just talked with Rick and he returned it immediatly after he was done with it. He said you let it out to someone else right after he had it

Hey Ramb, You were the first guy to help me on OSO.
That worked perfect. I sent the kit back to you 4 days
after I recieved it. If I recall correctly,you told me you
were sending it out to another guy right after you got
it back. I think there were two inserts left in the kit.

to be honest , i just couldn't remember who i loaned it too last
i was going through my tool box and found something that reminded me.
so i did a search to try and see my last string about the topic.
