Outdrive/redline oil
I was going to run redline synthetic lube in my outdrive this year. I see they sell redline shock Heavy, medium and light? what 1 should I run?

Call Red Line directly and ask the tech guys..they will tell you what you should run in your app. They told me to run the Shock proof heavy in my Scarab with TRS drives.

I have only seen Heavy, light and superlight. Would your Medium recomendation be the light? I'm not really trying to be a smarta$$, comes naturally , but I would like to know as I am thinking of running shockproof in my Bravo XZs behind HP500EFIs. Also would you always recomend shockproof in marine outdrives?

I called redline they told me shockproof heavy for virtually all I/O applications due to excessive load. He even said to use heavy behind a V6. Recommended light in a superlight outboard setup. Didn't sound like they typically recommended superlight for marine application. Now where do I buy it?

Yep they really like the heavy and we tried the different weights and the heavy does so less wear in 1 season in heavy boats or boats with alot of h.p.!!
never use super lite ------
summit has it or 803-329-8658 can ship it to you with your app.I'd stay with the heavy ,and do what they say ,they sure know better than me
any of it is killer stuff !!!!!!!!!!!
