Battery Rundown
 

After first time out on new 288Sunsation the battery was dead when we returned a week later.I remember the dealer mentioning a moisture sensor that kicks on the bildge giving them problems and running down battery..I noticed when I put charger on it, the bildge ran for about a minute.
There was no water in boat ,just a little moisture.
Only 1 battery in boat and no switch..Anyone seen this?

My 32 Sunsation had two batteries & no switch - Just added & OPtima Gel (3 rd battery& a switch) - so I can shut down when not in use- to prevent draining from something left on.

You might want to insist that the sensor gets replaced with a mechanical bilge pump switch.

I've not had any experience with the type of sensor you mention.
