Painting polished stainless?

Is there any certain precaution to painting polished stainless steel? special primer, or paint? Or does it cover just like any other steel?

Make sure that you unpolish it with 80-120 grit. Degrease with acetone. Prime it with an epoxy primer and paint with a good two part urethane such as Interthane Plus from Interlux. Easy to apply and readily available.
