Need a used sea pump w/plastic body !!

In rebuilding the Sonic (The Too Old Sonic),
one engine (Mk IV) had a plastic housing sea pump on it, the other engine (a Gen V) had a bronze bodied Jabsco pump on it. I would like them to match. Anybody got a used one? Will buy one or swap pumps or something else??? I've really gone way over budget on this deal & need to save a little here & there!!
Thanks guys!

Great job on the wiring and the engine bay. I was thinking of posting before and after pictures of mine, but I'm going to wait now so folks can forget how nice a job you did.

That Jabsco pump is several hundred dollars, and sand will not hurt it as fast as the plastic pumps. You might want to put up with two different pumps until the budget recovers from your current work, and then get a second Jabsco.

I am with Chart on this one. I would take the Jabsco any day over the plastic one.

Well, maybe I should reconsider!! Are the "BLUE" impellors available for the Jabsco??

same impeller as the Merc ones.

I have a spare plastic body pump and will do the deal with you if you want, but I would keep the Jabsco pump too if I were you.

formula31, I am going to take another look this weekend. I really haven't "looked" if you know what I mean at the Jabsco. Just that they were different and I am not familiar with the Jabsco. If I decide to switch, I'll let you know next week. Thanks for the offer.

Ok, its actually a much more robust version of the same pump. Even the cam plate inside is replaceable, not like the merc part where you have to buy a new body. Pretty sure it uses the same impeller too.
