manifold ???
 

How do the manifolds that come on the hp 500 compare to others like stainless marine etc...??? I was looking at a pair and was wondering if they would help or not and will they fit a 454 mpi??

If I am not mistaken, the HP 500 come with Gil Offshore exhausts manifold. Not a bad manifold but an older design. The 500 EFI's come with CMI's which I am running on a suped up 454 Mag. I really like the CMI's because they are more of a "full header design". Is it a stock 454 MPI? Not sure how much you would see in the hp department if you have the peanut heads etc... But if you upgrade in the future they could help.
