Prop Question

There is a shop here in Montreal offering me to lab my prop.
It's a mirage plus 23".

He suggests adding more cup and thining the blades for a 200 RPM gain. He says going for 300 rpm gets the blade to thin...

Cheap price : 200 canuck bucks!

What you prop guys think about that?

Only adding more cup with no pitch change? Good?
