i knwo the ends screws off and it reatins the cable, and there isa big spring in it and a black plastic tube that has one threaded end, which i am assuming the 33c cable screws into. Still nto sure how it hooks up to the drive??

Mine is hooked up like this. When the drive is raised the cable inside extends out moving the indicator on the dash.

Puder, you are missing the saddle, clamps and cup. Also, is there a washer inside to retain the cable?

Anyone know what makes these actuators stick ? On one drive the plactic plunger does not extend when I trim out. I've disassembled the thing and everything seems OK. I compared the spring pressure with the other drive and it seems Ok.

They seem to accumulate a lot of grit inside over the years. Take it apart and get an oil gallery brush to clean out the inside, then clean the plunger off well. I liberally lubricate mine with foggin oil 2-3 times a season and so far (kow) they are still working. I do have a tab indicator that broke it's cable that I need to fix though.
