msd 6al box, tack don't work!!!!
 

Well I installed the msd6al box on my 454 mag and now the tach doesn't work ,I was told about an adapter for the tach lead but thought I would check here 1st before I called msd.The boat is a 92 checkmate convincor 251 with the vdo style gauges they don't have a name on them .

That's a common problem. Msd sells a transformer to fix that. Msd has a chart showing which transformer you nead to wire into your system for which tach you have.
