Bravo 1 tech question
 

I have a 1995 complete lower unit, and have purchased a 2000 Bravo 1 lower. Will the 2000 lower bolt up to my intermediate section???

From looking at the parts diagrams, it looks like the 2000 lower has a small o-ring protected port running (oil??) from the lower into the intermediate section; and I don't think that port exists on my intermediate housing.

I am afraid the port will simply run oil out of the lower and into the larger water port above it.

Help!!!

Can I presume I use the 2000 rings - and they simply seal against the 1995 case without a matching port for the oil???

you need to tap the case for a 1/8 pipe plug and plug it off. also use the gasket:D
