Kamma-Lost a prop blade? Need advice

Running on Lake Michigan Sunday when my 357 started
shaking like crazy. Thought I lost a drive shaft or a surface drive.
Got to looking and 1 of the 4 blades on my 26p kamma props
was missing. I did not hit anything, just a wave. I can't see any other damage. Wondering were to find another prop, or can this
be repaired? Boat is pushing approx. 475hp each and I believe the drives are 1.5-1 ratio. Summers here and I can't be without my boat so any help is very appreciated

Perfect --

I broke one in smoothe water, no debris. The damn thing just decided it had been on there too long.

Get ready to find hen's teeth. I am assuming your dia is 16.5 to 17, and you wanna keep the pitch the same. Cheapest I saw for months was $2000/pair. I lucked into a pair on Ebay for half that, but that was after MONTHS of searching. I found lots of 3-blades for cheap, and even tried a pair -- no dice. Kaamas like 4-blades.

In case you don't know, you need the 19 spline that fits the small speedmaster shaft. The old Kaama props will be the best, b/c diameter of the outside of the prop hub on the drive side is the same as the diameter of the drive casing. Otherwise, the casing will be about 1/4 inch larger than the outside prop hub. (No one has ever told me this is a problem, but simple hydrodynamics should tell you a laminar flow would be better.)

Props for this shaft are getting harder to find. Speedmaster #2 and #3 drives used this spline, but the SSM 3A and up use the larger 26-spline shaft. (Someone correct me if I am wrong about the #4 drive.) Nevertheless, don't panic if you cannot find them -- there is an adapter that will allow you to use the 26-spline props on the 19-spline shafts. Price (I have heard) is about $400 a side, and I heard Doller Marine sells them. Unfortunately, prices aren't better for the larger spline props, there are just more of them.

Good luck, and tell me what you find if you find more than you need.

Kaama--
Thanks for the helpful information. It's good to have a few options available. I was once told by Gary @
Archer that those original Kamma 4-blades were like gold.
Who would of thought that a blade would just decide to come off in the middle of the lake?

I'm going to begin my cat & mouse chase to find propulsion. If I run across a gold-mine of Kaama props I will surely pass the word
