Stripped stud on coil?
Are studs on stock Merc coils replaceable or will I have to replace the coil??
|
If it's a Tbolt ignition, go get a new GM coil from the parts store, about $10. They work fine.

or use a push-on type connector.

or solder a wire on to it with a plug connector on the end.

DO YOU FILL YOUR TANK WITH GAS OR PUT 5.00 IN EVERYTIME YOUR LOW FUEL LIGHT COMES ON.
|
:D OK, had I known that a coil was so cheap then I never would have asked this question:rolleyes: I never had the need to buy or even price a new one until now:o
Thanks for the help guys;) |
One note. Merc sells their Tbolt coils for about $50. A standard GM coil works just as well. They cost $10 at any auto parts store.
