Water Pressure gage location?
On a 502 Mag EFI where would you check the water pressure?
Does the pressure gage have a sending unit that screws into the manifold then sends a signal based on resistance? I currently don't have a gage but I'm thinking of installing one. Is there a way to check the pressure any other way? maybe with a portable gage? TIA |
you can use a mechanical one. It will come with the hose and fittings.
Install it in the block where you drain the water to winterize. You know, right infront of the starter or the opposite side. DAVE |

Here is a picture of mine. I just ran a 1/8" clear hose from the gauge to the block. I got mine at Ace Hardware a small 1/8" compression fitting into a reducer or I think they are called a hex butt.
Anyway this works fine, I also did the same for my boost gauge. |
