900sc intake spacers

I have just completed the process of putting my blower on my starboard 900sc and firing it up. Smoked like a big dog. Intake gasket shifted? This is the second time in two days with the same results. I am due in Lake Tahoe for a poker run on Saturday. I need help guys, I will be up early to take the top end apart again. What could I be doing wrong? It is a tall deck so I have that stupid spacer between the head and intake and a Mooneyham blower. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks guys. Doug

if the block or heads have been milled or decked there may be a alignment prob ,if the angle is off they usually mill the intake on a BHJ block thru or ck the angle and mill intake .mocke it up with out gasket and measure the diff with a feller gage.

If the angle is OK .glue gaskets in place with 3m weatherstrip advise to hold in place, let dry , this in not a sealant. ,if there moving when you tighten them.
