Last winter there was a thread about the Merc Hiperf oil thermostat like the one installed on the HP500.

Someone here had posted the part # for the complete kit offered by Merc.

Does anyone have this # handy???

I ordered the parts separately from BAM. Used a '99 HP500 carbed model for the parts list. You will need to look at the carb models, not EFI.

We are looking to install the factory HP500 oil thermostat/filter housing to a new Gen 6 block...and if anyone is familiar with this kit, does it include the manifold that mounts to the oilfilter pad on the block???

This is an easy one that goes inline with your existing oil line running to the cooler. It comes in two styles. threded, and barb fittings.
