24ft Baja 07-17-2003 12:44 PM

why dose

when i go slow my 24ft BAJA turn back and forth by its self with the wheal streat and every thing seems tight it is cables to hyd.?

Nope, it's normal. V hulls tend to wander at slow speeds. If you can fight the temptation, the boat will actually correct back.

Krumbsnatcher 07-17-2003 04:06 PM

unless it is windy, then don't fight the temptation:D :D

Cord--- Wander is only normal on SINGLE engine V bottom boats.
Twin engine V bottom boats go straight as an arrow unless something acts on them.
OH almost forgot -- They have to be counter rotating props.

Your're right tinker. My comments would only apply to a single.

Just don't go slow and you will be fine!

Seriously, my 260 Baja does the same thing at no wake speed.
