Comp Springs, cam and lifters??

OK I have pretty much chosen a mech do change out my springs and lifter on my 500efi 222hrs, He recommends using all Comp parts to go back into it?? I have not heard of them but then again I don't know much about internals of a motor. If anyone has input on this brand I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Will give Tyler Crockett a call, he will tell you what you need to put back in the motor.

Comp Cams my be a good company but I've had Zero luck with thier mechanical roller lifters and there valvesprings seem to drop off after a season.
I've switched to Isky tool room springs and I would go with Isky lifters too. I've got Crower lifters at the moment but just recently broke one of those too.

I would check out this thread prior to choosing comp products.

Thanks for the heads up, I will probably insist on the Isky products;)

After quite a bit of research, I`ve decided to go with the Isky springs and lifters
