can anyone give me advice or any problems with late 01. 575's. and how do the xr's hold up behind them? thanks MFB

35 hours on mine behind a 28 Pantera and no problems what so ever.

Friend's boat at 11,000 pounds. Superchillers, boost turned up to 7psi, and ECM reprogram.
Eats XR's. |
Broke both the XR's in a 386 Sonic. Nothing done to the motors.

75hrs. XR/ITS, Intercooler. ECU reprogram,Fuel system upgrade. Boost 7.5 No problems yet.

I'm curious about the inter-cooler and ECU upgrade. I understand that with minor changes you can boost the hp by 200. Someone said that there is a kit offered.
Anyone have any info on this? |

27 Hallett. I opted for the Whipple Intercooler over the Superchiller to save height and keep it under the hatch. It ran rich on the bottom with the top adjusted correctly before the ECU reprogram.

friend has plenty of space under the scoops and went with the big superchiller. Supposedly Dynoed at 720 at 7 pounds with 70 degree water thru the chiller (I have not seen any dyno sheets).
I do know it eats XR's though (I bought his XR's after the last rebuild when he went to Bmaxes). **yes, he lost a few mph with the Bmaxes and is looking for more motor ** |
thanks guys I don't know much about the 575's as to what the boost should be at. its a stock boat, 47 lightning with triples. 88 hrs. the drives appear fine, oil is clean, no metal. Has anyone had trouble with the fuel line recall or bad alternators? thanks Mark B.
