FINALLY GOT TO RUN BOAT WAS TURNIN 4250 RPM AND 55 MPH SPEEDO TOOK OFF THOSE @##$$% MUFFLERS NOW RUNNIN 4650 AND 64 MPH ON SPEEDO WITH 23 MIRAGE SHOULD I CHANGE PROPS OR IS THAT THE BEST I GET ?????

Sounds like a 21 Mirage might be just the ticket, you may detonate the engine with that 23 pitch (with a load of poor quality fuel sometime in the future). The 21 should put you just below 5,000 rpm at WOT.

IT;S A 454 365HP BRAVO WITH 23 MIRAGE 4650 RPM WOT AND A 1989 EXCEL HULL? ANY SUGESTIONS ON CUTTING THE WIND IN MY FACE IT'S GOT THAT LOW PRO WIND FARING????

you could prolly drop to a 19 and get the rpms up to like 5200. you might pick up a few mph by spining the smaller prop faster.

the best bet would prolly be a labbed 21 pitch

Try a 21 Mirage plus might get you to 48 or 4900, as far as the wind I had an 87 excel with a full windshield and hated it there's no standup bolsters in these floating crappers so I either looked thru the shield orsat on my foot to see over. I'll admit the fairing does look alot cooler. Try those wind flaps I was contemplating getting them as well.
