Merc 350 mag efi HP???

I'm just curuios- the 350 mag efi with a Bravo or the FWC horizon version is rated 300 HP.

The 350 mag tourney ski efi is rated at 315 HP.

Is it possible that the engines are identical and the difference is either...

300 is with ex thru the bravo drive vs transom exhaust on a ski boat

or could it be HP loss thru the bravo vs the direct drive in the ski boat.

Anyone know for sure?

merc rates them at prop shaft horsepower so it would be due to the 15hp loss of running through the bravo drive.
