Lower gears, especially RH drive.

Lower Pinion Gear, RH Rotation. Not enough to support it and keep it aligned. Still a good drive between 500-650HP.. Good deal on TRS Drives and Gear Sets are still able to be found for a reasonable cost. I went the Konrad route. I had about 675HP on TRS drives and I had about 125 hours before issue

Hey Guys,

New here. I picked up an outdrive this week to replace a badly maintained TRS on a 26' Stamas flybridge. In the pics it looked like a TR. Turns out it came off a "military inflatable" and looks just like a TR. No water pick up, 19" prop. Nearly identical to my TR on another boat. If you put them side by side you'd have to look hard to see the difference. It has an extra section between the upper case and where it would bolt to a gimbal and a shifter cable. I removed the top covers to find reverse gears. It was attached to the engine via an automotive type drive clutch. I can't find any record of a TR with reverse. This thing is in pristine condition too. Tried posting pics. Can't do that either I guess.

Looking for some insight as to what this might be and if the parts to attach it to a Merc 350 MPI exist.

That is a 215E from the early 70's. Adapting it to a newer engine is pretty much impossible.

Nailed it! Thank you. Much appreciated. Looks like it'd going to Ebay.
