Speeds salt vs fresh water (v bottom)?

I know this is tough with heat, humidity, and elevation, but what have you guys found?

2 mph

I agree, about 2 mph. Another couple of mph if you get in rough water. So the ocean will give you 4 or 5 mph over a river. I've seen these results going out in the ocean compared to the Delaware River in a deep vee.

About 2mph with my boat. CT river vs LI Sound.

Troutly,
On labbing, Mercury right from the box and Hydromotive's inside service.
How about a 03 382 with B1-31L's, 525's light, running 84 at 5370 (gps and digital), dusting of a 35 (pre -step) Fountain with 525 sc's also light. Kind of a match race.
