Can anyone tell me why I keep breaking these things?

its a stock imco shaft. that seems to be the only thing I break. but it s fine in the rough.

Hi Bruce,

If you haven't already, call IMCO directly and see what they have to say.
Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that in calm water you will trim to a more extreme angle which is actually exerting more force on the shaft vs running a little more tucked in in the rough?
Just a question to ponder!

Good point Tom...thanks

Ill have Smitty give them a call. I broke that shaft in Marathon and Milwaukee. Both Flat water races. But in the rough, all was good.

by the way..imco doesnt want to know anything. they just want their money
