An associate supposedly had a Passport warranty that was to be included in the package deal with a 1 year old boat that he purchased. After having an issue that should/would have been covered under the warranty, According to Passport, they dont cover HP Series Engine or parts thereof, atleast on previously owned boats.
( This a Merc HP Series Powered boat, well known & respected boat manufacturer ).

Now you would figure that the boat dealer would know that, and not sold them such !

Anybody have an idea what a warranty would cost thru passport on a twin engine boat ? Just want to compare to what my associate was charged. The warranty was supposed to cover the engines & drives, & any work associated with servicing/replacing broken/defective parts.
