Polyester gelcoat on epoxy

Fiberglass experts-

My hull is epoxy/kevlar and I read that there is an adhesion problem with polyester on epoxy resin. Is this true with polyester gelcoat on epoxy???? I pressure washed the fuel tank bays and was able to dislodge about 25 percent of the gelcoat with ease.

Also, what brand/type is the best gelcoat to use? The hull is white with a layer of black underneath.

Thanks
Ronnie aka Bulldog

One way works, the other doesn't. I "think" it is epoxy will stick to poly but poly won't stick to epoxy.
