Trim Cylinder Rebuild

Has anyone rebuilt their Trim Cylinders?

I have one that's bleeding down so, I know I need to rebuild it. My question is;

Do you need to purchase the overhaul kit @ 87.00 or can you get by with the seal kit @19.00?

I would think that all I need are the "o"rings. Does anyone know what comes with each of these kits?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Bob

I suspect you get all the rubber bushings, anodes, etc with the overhaul kit. Just get the seal kit, that should have everything you need.

Thanks for the info guys.

Al, do you know which kit the check valve is in or do you just clean it up?

Thanks,

Bob

I have always just used the seal kit. Except for when they are really blown out and then I get the new houseing but that is a totally different part all together. I hone out the unside stuff with a break hone and then put it all back together with the new seals.

Thanks for the info Jon. That sounds like what I need to do. (It's not totally blown).
