System1 Oil Filters

I was wondering if the System 1 Oil Filters are any good? I see Too Old had an major issue with a bad casting? Greg P seems to like his filters. I want to use the system 1 on my HP500 because I can easily open it up check the "screen", however I'm cautious as I searched the Web and could't even find much info about these guy's. I am presently using an Fram HP 6 filter.
Thanks John
Ps I also have a KE Thermostat controlled remote oil filter pad..how do I run the oil lines into this unit?

For oil line routing look on Keith Eeickerts site. under lubrication and oil thermostat they have a link to a picture for hook up of lines. http://www.keith-eickert.com/

Hope this helps

I have had no complaints about my System 1 filters, but the price for them has gone WAY up. I like being able to inspect/clean them, but think if you can get them easily the synthetic WIX filters would be a better bang for the buck. Cutting them open for inspection is really not a problem. I will not use paper element filters on the boat again.
