Engine identification
 

I need some help. The engine in the boat I bought is an MCM 502MAG Bravo serial number OD425140. What does the MCM stand for and could someone run this serial number for me or give me a website that I can run the number. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that info. Shortly after I bought the boat in 2001 I replaced the Bravo 1 outdrive because the upper gear case exploded so that is a 2001 now. Where did you get that information from? Looks like they had other issues with this motor or are these bulletins that applied to this motor?
