Who's got the best 28' Cat

I'm looking at stepping up to a 28' cat and wanted some opinions. I presently own a twin step 25' Daytona, love the boat but looking for something that will handle rougher water.

My twin 28 Daytona will step over some serious water. Night and day over your 25. My other boat is a 26 Carrera (which steps over water better than the 25) and its a BIG difference

28 Daytona tall deck with twins. Even has a usable cuddy.

My vote would definitely be for a Skater. There are several nice 28's on the market now. I sure wish I had room for one

Best bang for buck --- Profile
want cuddy spaace ---- TD Eliminator
Fast as hell ---- Skater

All depends on what you want.

Love my 28' Eliminator, no problems. Depending on power, the 28 Daytona can be very, very fast. I honestly feel that 28' cats should only be dual motor though, single engine takes good power to get to high speeds. Theres a dual small block 28 low deck that runs 140+ for sale, awesome boat, new motors, got mine up for sale, dual Hemi's!! "That things gotta a Hemi?" No no, it's got 2!

Check out the Profile. They are made here in Iowa, and they are very well built....

Hard to beat an Eliminator tho, they are awesome boats.....:p

$175,000 for mine. The twin small blocks is Mike Pyles, "catandmice" on OSO. A totally sick boat, incredible detail, very, very fast. Got *****in small blocks, 830hp each, EFI, etc. I'll have him email you some pics. If you want some of mine, let me know.

I would like to get some pics of your boat.

How much for the twin small block boat, that looks like a sweat boat?

How's it going, I bought a dump valve from you. Havent desided on a price yet. I've got so much money in it, you know how it is.

Eliminator has a pod, Skater doesn't, both awesome boats.

Will one ride better in rough water?

Is one more stable at very high speeds?

Can you fit BBC's or SBC's in the Skater since it doesn't have a pod?

The 28 skater was never designed to be an I/O powered boat but it can be done, just ask oso member Timucin. He shoved twin BBC's in one. Results? slower than twin outboards.

A great Cat

Thanks for the interest in my Cat. At the present time Im not really interested in selling. However, If you are not in a big hurry maybe we can hook up. I plan on doing the Alum Creek shootout and after that who knows..I just have not had time to use it the last couple of years.
Ive put a total of 24 hours on it since I brought it back from Nv. three years ago..The boat is in perfect condition, It has never run even close to 140 mph but it useally is in front of most of them that say they can.. :D
also I might be interested in taking your boat in trade..
Keep me in mind and good luck in your search.
