New paint questions?
 

I have a 28 sonic. I am thinking of putting new graphics on it or repainting what's on there now. The paint is part of the gelcoat, what is involved in stripping it and putting new graphics on it? Any idea on average costs for something like the graphics posted below??

If the graffics are in the gel then what you need to do is degrease/de-wax, light sanding, prime, and paint. Then do your new graffics

If you have it done by a pro it can range upward of $10,000.

or you can go the economy way and have the whole boat painted white and have vinyl graphics put on that. Then in the future when your tases change or you get bored you just peel it off and put a new design on! :D

I just ordered a new Pantera 28' & want american flag graphics on it similar to the ones done by Graphicworx on a Cigarette Gladiator 36' (click on photos pg 7 on their site). Graphicworx quoted me $12k on that Gladiator 36 saying it would be approx $8k on a 28'. Keep me posted on your progress as I have several american flag schemes saved I can share w/ you & woul'd appreciate it if you'd do the same.

thanks american. that's the only one i have on file. i have seen a couple of other styles out there. Some have the stars starting at the bow and waving down twords the stern. can't decide which i like better. love to see some of your flag schemes.
