Post Checking drive ratio?

I have two B1 perf. drives on my boat one is marked 1.36 the other is marked 1.50. What is the easist way to tell what they are for sure? I have a parts manual and it looks as if I can remove the top cap and lift out the top gear and count the teeth. Is there a better way?

Thanks - Ray

Wink

The easiest way to find out what ratio the drives are is to drain the gear lube first.Take off the top cap and the rear cap and count the driven and drive gear teeth. Email us with that info and we can tell you what ratio it is.
