any idea what is fair?
 

I recently had a BBC 540 built by a local but very reputable shop . Here is a list of what is in the motor.

Gen VI gm block
Dart pro 1 335 cc CNC ported alum. Heads
Inconal exhaust valves
Manley pro series rods
Scat Pro billet 4.25 Crank
10qu offshore oil pan
JE dish top blower pistons 8.25:1 comp.

Areomotive "big red" fuel pump with boost compensating regulator
All accessories, pumps, coolers, bell housing, ECT
cmi exhaust

This motor has dyno time only. It dynoed at 945 hp with 10lbs of boost, 900 hp with 8lbs of boost.

This is a rock solid motor. Dyno sheet available. I am selling the boat i built it for.

It is a comp ready to drop in motor with exhaust and all accessories.

Please give me an idea what would be a fair asking price for this motor.

Take the build price and subtract 10-20%. That would be a fair price for a quick sale. Asking would need to be more though.
