Need a Stud source
 

I'm looking for studs.
(insert appropriate joke here)
I need to replace the studs used to hold my TRS transom plates to the transom.
a certain large marine company wants almost $9.00 a piece and they are not even stainless! I need 16 of them.

5-3/8" overall length

1/2" diameter, threaded on both ends:
End "A" is threaded 1/2-13 (1 inch of threads)
End "B" is threaded 1/2-20 (1.5 inches of threads)

Tried McMaster Carr, but they only carry 1/2-13 on both ends.

I emailed ARP, but no reply yet.

Any leads on fastener sources would be greatly appreciated.

I was gonna say the same thing. Look in the phone book under fasteners. Any fastener company should have these.

These are odd ball studs.
Any other suggestions?

Why worry about coarse on both ends if the fine thread end has the nut on it? Buy a coarse nut and be done with it.

Info - I think fine threads have more holding power.
The coarse end goes into the block and has a large area of threaded contact. The fine thread only has contact with the nut that does not have very much length. ( contact area )
