500bulldogs take superchargers???
 

On some stock hp 500 bulldogs carbed, can a root style supercharger be bolted to the tops or compression to high to do any good with. they have around 140 hrs on them.

Also what all would need to be upgraded to do this? Fuel lines, fuel pumps?

Motor is a good foundation for 4-5lbs of boost unintercooled or 5-6.5 intercooled. You'll need to upgrade the fuel pump and of course rejet the carb. There 540ci, come equipped with a Dominator carb, 8.75:1 compression, forged pistons and rods. Keep it modest, ideally run intercooled and you'll get plenty of use out of the engine.

was lookin a tthe whipple site, which one would be the best torun, and what type of maintenance will be required? Also can they come polished or just in blue tint, any info is greatle appreciated. John
