Modified oil pans?
 

anyone ever add capacity to a stock pan? for way less than they get for a larger marine pan I think you could have some tin bent and add some capacity yourself...couple trap doors...shouldn't be that hard! Could be another side line for Maxx and Alfster...

I have modified small block pans for my Cigarette ,just like you said cut the bottom off of the sump and form up a kickout,put in a baffle system I did not use trap doors though.I used 16 gauge steel.But since My dad builds custom Aluminum Dry Sump Pans this was a piece of cake!

Addiction what do they charge??can you use a standard pick up?

depends on what you are wanting,usually you would use a deeper pick-up but once again,it depends on the volume you desire,I beleive they can go towards 10-14 qt pans,or even modify for drysump!

I am Currently working 7 days a week and I have too many projects of my own right now,But I appreciate the offer.

If you need a Gen 5-6 ,8 quart pan to use (cheap), let me know. I got this one by mistake and cant use it. The bottom has a dent so it would be perfect for modification.
