Bad Crank???

Has anyone heard of a cracked crank? I had a Crower Billet crank that a guy had checked and was told it was cracked. Any idea's?

Was it new? How many hours? HP parts including cranks have a life expectancy and the application of use will determine how long they will last. Top fuel cranks last about 10 minutes whereas steel cranks in stock type applications can last thousands of hours. Once fatigued cracks can begin to form.

IT HAPPENS. I HAD A 500HP CRANK BREAK.I HEARD OF A CRANK IN A STEARLING CRACK. NO RHYME OR REASON OTHER THAN BUY ANOTHER ONE.
