Scanning a HP500EFI

What kind of data is available when you "Scan" a HP500 EFI with Mercury's scan tool? Will the scan tool show overheat condition, overrev, hours of operation @ WOT, etc?
Thanks,
Dean

See http://www.rinda.com/marine/marine.htm

This is the tool for reading the ECU, This does not tell you everything but it gives you an Idea. The HP500 Uses the MEFI3 ECU. I cant remember them all but here are a few:

Hours
Volts
RPM
Coolant temp
any ECU flags set
IAC position
Throttle position
Knock sensor
Manifold vac pressure

there are a few others I cannot remember

The rpm hours is logged in the ignition module you would need the adapter to read these.

once you plug into and communicate with the ecu-it will give you engine hours-run time -run time 1000-2000 rpms,2000-3000 and so on up the scale to rev limiter -these parameters can be found in the service mode or gen specs-i use a laptop computer to scan mine but its all in there with your scan tool.

To my knowledge you cannot get stored rpm info on the hp500efi with a rinda scan tool. I have the tool with the latest software update and cannot access that info. You can get that info with Thunderbolt V ignition and PCM 555 and PCM 038. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
