Mercruiser Gimbal Housing

I have a Mercruiser Bravo III sterndrive. My gimbal housing has been replaced three times. The saltwater enters from the shaft-swivel seal and starts to corrode. The last one lasted 10 months. Can anyone help

YOU NEED TO TALK TO ME. WE MAKE A HP SWIVEL SHAFT THAT WILL NOT CORRODE. MADE OF 17-4 STAINLESS.WHEN YOU PUT NEW SEAL IN YOU MUST LOCKTITE IT, AND GREASE SWIVEL SHAFT. THIS WILL MAKE SEAL LIVE LONGER. A LITTLE SALTY WATER ON A STANDARD SWIVEL SHAFT WILL CORRODE & RUST IT INSTANTLY, AND TEAR OUT SEAL. CHECK OUT OUR WEB SITE JRMARINE.COM AND CLICK ON HP PARTS. GIVE ME A CALL RON BENDER CELL 216-390-1330:)
